FAQ

All participants must be 6 or older on race day to participate in the Denim 5K Series.

Yes! Everyone will receive a participation shirt and race packet at the Wellness Fair & Expo, as well as a medal at the finish line. The race packet will include goodies from our brand partners. Additionally, merchandise and other items will be available for purchase from our partners on the day of the event.

We understand that life happens! Please contact our team at [email address] to request a refund and be prepared to provide evidence for the following circumstances. Refunds are granted for:

  • Injuries that prevent a participant from safely completing the event (doctor’s note required, no exceptions).
  • Pregnancy or pregnancy complications.
  • Military deployment.
  • Significant life events within 30 days of the event (e.g., the death of a family member).

Thank you for your understanding.

To focus primarily on participation and completing the race rather than competition, we are offering awards to the top three female and male overall finishers.

Yes, this event will offer a gear check option for participants.

The Denim 5K Series will host a virtual 5K challenge during Denim Day Week. Participants can complete the 5K wherever they are, submit their run, and receive a medal and swag bag. More details will be shared closer to the event.

Yes, you can sign up a team or join a team during the registration process. If you have already signed up and want to be added to a team, you can do that in your participant dashboard.

Bibs and participant shirts must be picked up in person at the Wellness Fair & Expo on April 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

No, we do not mail bibs. Bibs must be picked up in person at the Wellness Fair & Expo on April 25, 2026.

Participants can pick up one additional bib and shirt, but they must provide a corresponding driver’s license for each bib and show the confirmation information.

Bib numbers will be assigned dynamically when you check in at the Expo for bib pick-up.

The Wellness Fair & Expo is open to everyone, except for activities like yoga and cold plunges, which have limited spots. Friends and family members must be escorted by a race participant to enter. If the venue reaches capacity, entrance may be limited to participants only. We will do our best to accommodate family and friends.

Yes, the Denim 5K is walker-friendly. We ask that participants aim to walk at a 20-minute-mile pace or faster to ensure everyone can complete the course.

Participants can bring the following items:

  • Headphones (please keep the volume low enough to hear race announcements).
  • Hydration packs.
  • GPS devices.
  • Belt bags.
  • Strollers (please consider the time and distance when preparing your little one).

Large bags and prohibited items will not be allowed on the course. Final details about prohibited items will be shared closer to race weekend.

No, the Denim 5K is a walker-friendly event. We just ask that you aim to walk at least a 20-minute-mile pace.
